Cunard has announced a significant drydock refurbishment of MS Queen Elizabeth, aligning the vessel for its inaugural Caribbean 2025 program (based on homeporting in PortMiami Florida USA) and Alaskan 2025 season (from Seattle WA USA).
The 2000-passenger ship will undergo an extensive refit at Seatrium Admiralty Yard (Singapore) from February 25th to March 13th, 2025.
The upgrades will prepare her for a new Alaska season starting in June and a Caribbean debut voyage from Miami on October 16th, 2025.
For the first time in Cunard’s history, Queen Elizabeth will be homeported in Miami for a full season, offering roundtrip Caribbean itineraries. The voyages range from 9 to 28 nights, with signature call ports Montego Bay Jamaica, San Juan Puerto Rico, and St John’s Antigua.
The Caribbean season starts with a 12-night voyage visiting Bridgetown Barbados and Castries St Lucia.
The refurbishment will refresh key areas, including the Commodore Club, Queens Room, Panorama Pool Club, Garden Lounge, and The Pavilion, blending contemporary elegance with Cunard’s signature ocean-focused design.
The Grills Suites and dining venues will also receive enhancements, featuring refined interiors and furnishings. Grills guests will enjoy an exclusive menu crafted by Michelin-starred chef Michel Roux, with dishes tailored for Gala Evenings.
Additionally, Queen Elizabeth will debut the Pavilion Wellness Cafe, which highlights plant-based cuisine alongside sustainably sourced meat, fish, and dairy options.
The ship will also introduce the Harper’s Bazaar Wellness at Sea program, offering 3-day packages focused on relaxation, energy restoration, or recovery.
The updates aim to elevate the onboard experience while showcasing Cunard’s dedication to innovation and luxury.
