Trimline UK secures €15M contract for AIDA Cruises’ Evolution (refurbishment) program

The UK-based Trimline, a specialist in marine interior outfitting, has been awarded a EUR 15 million (US$19.1 million) contract to refit 3 AIDA Cruises vessels - AIDAdiva, AIDAluna, and AIDAbella.

The project forms part of AIDA’s Evolution refit and refurbishment program, which is designed to elevate guest experiences through modernized and innovative interior designs.

According to Trimline, the company’s extensive experience in marine refits will be instrumental in meeting AIDA Cruises’ objectives for the project. Co-owner Nick Farrell highlighted the company's commitment to quality, innovation, and fostering long-term relationships in the maritime sector, expressing enthusiasm about the opportunity to contribute to the enhancement of onboard experiences.

The refit schedule begins with AIDAdiva entering a 7-week drydock in February 2025. This phase will focus on upgrading key guest areas.

Refits for AIDAluna and AIDAbella are planned for late 2025 and early 2026, ensuring a comprehensive modernization of the 3 vessels.

Trimline’s involvement underscores AIDA’s commitment to delivering a refreshed and enhanced environment for its passengers as part of the broader Evolution program initiative.
