MSC Cruises has announced an innovative partnership with X Factor Italia, the Sky Original talent show produced by Fremantle, offering passengers an unparalleled entertainment experience.
Beginning in January 2025, MSC Lirica will host the official castings for the 2025 edition of the show, transforming cruise vacations into a platform for discovering Italy’s next musical talents.
As part of this collaboration, passengers aboard MSC Lirica can participate in auditions via specially designed “Recording Boxes.” These booths allow aspiring performers to introduce themselves, select a song, and record their auditions on camera. The best performances will be reviewed by the X Factor editorial team, with successful candidates invited to participate in official auditions ashore.
Adding to the excitement, MSC Lirica will host 11 exclusive musical evenings featuring contestants from the 2024 season of X Factor Italia. Performances will take place in the ship's Broadway Theatre, showcasing the songs that propelled these artists to stardom. Passengers will also have the opportunity to meet the performers during post-show meet-and-greet sessions.
For fans, official X Factor merchandise will be available onboard, providing unique keepsakes to commemorate their journey. The collaboration extends beyond the ship through the social media platforms of X Factor Italia and Sky Italia, blending the energy of music with the scenic beauty of the sea.
