On Saturday, December 21st, DCL-Disney Cruise Line's newest addition, the Disney Treasure, embarked on her maiden voyage, a 7-night journey to the Caribbean from her homeport in Port Canaveral (Orlando, Florida). This inaugural itinerary includes calls at Tortola in the British Virgin Islands, St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Disney Cruise Line's private island, Disney Castaway Cay in The Bahamas.

The ship's debut marks the culmination of ~2 years of construction milestones chronicled through Disney Cruise Line's official ship's log. Followers have witnessed key stages of the vessel's creation, from the first steel cutting to the installation of intricate onboard artwork, and finally, the ship's transatlantic crossing. Now, passengers are experiencing the ship firsthand as it begins its operational life.

The Disney Treasure offers an array of features designed to immerse guests in Disney's signature storytelling, drawing inspiration from the worlds of Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and classic Disney Parks attractions. Among the highlights are Disney Cruise Line's first Coco-themed theatrical dining experience, an original stage production centered on Moana's journey, and lounges inspired by popular Disney Parks attractions such as the Jungle Cruise, Haunted Mansion, and 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. These innovative spaces complement reimagined guest favorites to ensure a memorable experience for all ages.

Following her christening in New York City, the Disney Treasure begins her inaugural season with 7-night cruises to the Eastern and Western Caribbean. Destinations include San Juan (Puerto Rico); Cozumel (Mexico); and additional Caribbean ports of call, alongside the exclusive Disney Castaway Cay. This year-round service promises unforgettable vacations with a blend of entertainment, dining, and exploration for guests sailing aboard Disney Cruise Line's latest masterpiece.
