Windstar Cruises has introduced a new mascot, a show jumping horse named Windstar, described as "beyond ordinary."
The announcement was made on Christmas Day, accompanied by the launch of an Instagram page dedicated to the horse, where fans were invited to follow its journey.
The mascot is the result of a collaboration between Windstar Cruises, international show jumper Kelli Cruciotti-Vanderveen, and Serenity Farm Show Stables in Wellington, Florida. While specific details of the partnership have yet to be disclosed, the initiative aims to integrate equestrian show jumping with the Windstar brand experience.
Chris Prelog, president of Windstar Cruises, expressed enthusiasm for the addition of the horse to the company's initiatives. Cruciotti-Vanderveen, in an Instagram video, mentioned plans to compete with Windstar in show jumping events and to introduce the sport to Windstar Cruises’ passengers as part of a unique offering.
