CCL-Carnival Cruise Line marked its 4th consecutive year of participation in New York’s Times Square New Year’s Eve celebration, reaffirming its ongoing commitment to military service members and their families.

The festivities featured Medal of Honor Recipients Jack Jacobs and Earl Plumlee, accompanied by Chris Cassidy, CEO of the National Medal of Honor Museum, and Sarah Beth Reno (CCL's Senior VP). Plumlee took part in the ceremonial Ball lighting test on the morning of December 31st, while Jacobs played a key role in activating the switch for the midnight countdown.

As the official cruise line sponsor of the Times Square New Year’s Eve celebration and Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2025, CCL emphasized its dedication to military appreciation. The cruise line regularly hosts military-focused events on all its sailings and actively supports various veterans’ initiatives. This includes being a founding partner of the National Medal of Honor Museum, which is set to open in Arlington, Texas, in March 2025.

Christine Duffy (CCL's President) said the company takes pride in honoring military heroes during such iconic celebrations. She noted the year ahead will be significant, highlighting the upcoming opening of Celebration Key on Grand Bahama, designed to provide guests with a unique and idyllic destination experience.
