MSC Cruises unveils Big Game ad featuring MSC World America

MSC Cruises, the world’s third-largest cruise shipping company, is set to showcase its unique blend of European sophistication and American appeal during television’s most prominent event with a 60-second commercial.

The Big Game advertisement will feature two as-yet-unrevealed celebrities traveling on the company’s newest vesselMSC World America.

The commercial serves as the launch pad for a nationwide marketing campaign to emphasize the key elements distinguishing MSC Cruises in the U.S. market. These include the line’s commitment to the region, exemplified by stationing its newest and most advanced ships at an expanding roster of North American homeports. The campaign highlights MSC’s diverse range of shipboard amenities tailored to North American preferences, the award-winning MSC Yacht Club - a luxury enclave offering enhanced suites, butler service, and exclusive facilities - and the renowned Ocean Cay (Bahamas) - an exclusive, private island destination featuring miles of white-sand beaches, with additional upgrades planned for early 2025.

The advertisement underscores the cruise line’s global heritage and its distinct approach to delivering travel experiences that blend familiar comforts with innovative perspectives. It sets the stage for the debut of MSC World America, MSC’s largest ship to operate in the North American market. Scheduled to sail from Miami on April 12th, 2025, the liner will offer 7-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries, each including a call at Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve.

Additionally, the commercial aligns with a pivotal year for MSC in the USA market. The company will celebrate the grand opening of its new terminal at PortMiami on April 9th, 2025, which is set to become the world’s largest cruise terminal. Later in 2025, MSC will expand operations to include sailings from Galveston TX for the first time.

The brand will further grow its portfolio by adding Alaska itineraries in the summer of 2026.

Developed in collaboration with award-winning independent creative agency Highdive, the campaign and its centerpiece Big Game commercial aim to position MSC Cruises as a standout option for American travelers seeking a distinctive vacation experience.
