The Carnival Corporation-owned Princess Cruises announced that its vessel Regal Princess will enter drydock in Rotterdam (Holland) for regular maintenance and classification works, leading to modifications in her April 2025 schedule. Two sailings are affected by this development.

The April 18th, 2025, departure from Southampton UK has been shortened from 10 days to 6. Guests on this voyage will receive a pro-rated refund, future cruise credit, onboard credit, and compensation for any airline change fees incurred.

Meanwhile, the April 28th, 2025, sailing has been canceled. Passengers booked on this itinerary will be offered a full refund, a future cruise credit, and reimbursement for airline changes.

A Princess Cruises representative expressed the company’s understanding of the disruption caused and emphasized their commitment to addressing the situation fairly for all affected guests.

Regal Princess is scheduled to resume operations on May 9th, 2025, with a 12-day roundtrip from Southampton visiting destinations in the British Isles, Scotland, and France.
