Crystal Cruises unveiled its World Cruise 2027 planned for Crystal Serenity ship. The 140-night itinerary groups 83 destinations in 29 countries and on 4 continents.
Titled "Stories of the South Seas", the global voyage promises an unparalleled exploration. It departs from San Diego CA USA on January 8th, 2027, and ends in Vancouver BC Canada on May 28th. The 140-night itinerary highlights the vibrant cultures of Central and South America, the serene beauty of French Polynesia, the natural wonders of New Zealand and Australia, and the historic treasures of Asia, before culminating with Alaska's majestic landscapes.
The voyage begins with a southward exploration of Mexico’s coast and Central America, with stops in El Salvador’s Acajutla and Costa Rica’s lush landscapes. The ship then sails to Ecuador, visiting Manta and Guayaquil before crossing the South Pacific to French Polynesia. Guests will experience the turquoise lagoons and volcanic splendor of Bora Bora and Tahiti, as well as cultural traditions in Samoa and Fiji. From there, the itinerary continues to New Zealand’s fjords and major cities, including Auckland and Christchurch, before heading to Australia, where Tasmania, Sydney, and the Great Barrier Reef await.
In Southeast Asia, passengers will discover Indonesia’s ancient temples, the bustling streets of Singapore and Bangkok, and Vietnam’s historical richness in Ho Chi Minh City. The voyage also features stops in China’s Shanghai and Xiamen, followed by visits to Busan in South Korea and Japanese cities such as Kobe, Hiroshima, and Tokyo. The journey concludes with a majestic tour of Alaska, including Sitka, Ketchikan, and the Hubbard Glacier, before arriving in Vancouver.
Revisiting several celebrated destinations from Crystal’s 2019 itinerary, the 2027 cruise also introduces new, bespoke experiences curated by Abercrombie & Kent. These include private tours of Indonesia’s temples, guided culinary excursions in Thailand, and intimate cultural moments such as Fijian firewalking ceremonies.
