Fincantieri's Ancona shipyard launches ultra-luxury yacht Four Seasons I

On January 23rd, Fincantieri and Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings LTD, the joint owner and operator of Four Seasons Yachts, marked the launch of Four Seasons I, the first ultra-luxury vessel under construction for the Four Seasons Yachts brand. The ceremony took place at the Ancona shipyard, with delivery of the vessel scheduled for the end of this year and its inaugural voyage planned for January 2026.

Representing Fincantieri at the event were Chairman Biagio Mazzotta, CEO and Managing Director Pierroberto Folgiero, and General Manager of the Merchant Ships Division Luigi Matarazzo. From the shipowner side, attendees included Nadim Ashi, Owner and Executive Chairman of Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings LTD and Founder/CEO of Fort Partners, along with Prosper Assouline, Creative Director of Four Seasons Yachts, and Bart Carnahan, President of Global Business Development, Portfolio Management, and Residential at Four Seasons.

The vessel, Four Seasons I, is designed as an all-suite, residential-style yacht, aiming to establish a new benchmark for luxury at sea. With a gross tonnage of 34,000 and a length of 207 meters (679 ft), it will house 95 suites, each featuring a bespoke design to enhance the connection between guests, the sea, and their surroundings. The suites will include expansive terrace decks, with the largest accommodation, the Funnel Suite, offering up to 457 square meters (4949 ft2) of private space.

Equipped with advanced environmental protection technologies, Four Seasons I represents a commitment to sustainable cruising, aligning luxury with modern ecological standards.
