Oceania Cruises is set to enhance its culinary offerings with the introduction of its signature French restaurant, Jacques, on the new ship Allura, scheduled for launch in mid-July 2025.

Named after the esteemed chef Jacques Pepin, this restaurant will bring his acclaimed culinary philosophy to the vessel, continuing the tradition established on Oceania’s Marina and Riviera ships.

In addition to its debut on Allura, Jacques (replacing the Ember restaurant) will also be featured on Oceania’s sistership Vista, which is expected to commence operations in October 2025. The restaurant will join a selection of other dining options available on both ships, including Polo Grill, Toscana, and Red Ginger, catering to 1,200+ guests.

Frank A. Del Rio (Oceania's President) highlighted the significance of Jacques within the company’s culinary framework, describing it as “the heart” of their gastronomic philosophy. Executive Culinary Directors Alexis Quaretti and Eric Barale will collaborate with Chef Pepin to introduce new dishes while refining classic favorites that have gained popularity among guests.

The menu will showcase signature offerings such as duck with Grand Marnier-infused orange sauce and veal medallions with morel sauce. Guests can also indulge in traditional French desserts like Crepes Suzette and profiteroles. The restaurant will feature tableside service for select dishes, including beef tartare, complemented by new crockery and glassware to enhance the dining experience.

Del Rio emphasized that the addition of Jacques to Allura and Vista not only honors Oceania’s culinary heritage but also signifies a commitment to future dining excellence within the cruise line.
