Seabourn announced its 2026 Northwest Passage/Canadian Arctic cruises for the Seabourn Venture ship. Scheduled from August to October 2026, the 6 voyages range from 8 to 24 days, allowing exploration of notable polar destinations.
Itineraries and Highlights:
- Two 24-day expeditions will traverse the Northwest Passage from Reykjavik (Iceland) to Anchorage (Alaska USA), departing on August 5th and August 29th.
- A 15-day voyage titled "Wild Labrador Coast: Missions, Fjords & Wilderness" will depart on September 20th from Reykjavik to Halifax (Nova Scotia Canada).
- Additional options include a 35-day journey from Reykjavik to Anchorage and a 38-day itinerary from Anchorage to Halifax.
Key experiences include:
- Exploration of Devon Island (Canada), the largest uninhabited island known for its Mars-like terrain.
- Cultural interactions with Arctic communities in Cambridge Bay.
- Visits to historic sites associated with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and Hudson's Bay Company.
