Adora Cruises introduced the second edition of its maritime art exhibition, "Thinking of Dunhuang: Digital Dunhuang Enters Adora Cruises" on its ship Adora Magic City. This exhibition presents a curated selection of murals and artifacts that illustrate the historical evolution of Dunhuang’s costume culture.

The display features 11 murals and a statue, providing insights into the clothing and makeup traditions of different historical periods. Notable works include the Northern Liang mural Offering to Bodhisattva, depicting Indian-influenced attire, and the Western Wei mural Five Hundred Robbers Becoming Buddhas, showcasing detailed representations of ancient cavalry uniforms. The Tang Dynasty is represented through The Lady of the Governor Worshiping Buddha, a mural emphasizing the luxury and refinement of the period’s fashion. Additionally, later dynasties such as the Song, Western Xia, and Yuan are featured, demonstrating the evolving styles of nobility, military figures, and commoners.

Beginning February 1st, Adora Cruises will complement the exhibition with interactive activities focused on Dunhuang’s costume culture. Guests can participate in documentary screenings, traditional mural-inspired dance performances, and hands-on experiences with Silk Road Apsaras costumes and makeup. A dedicated program, the "Little Shazhou Apsaras Experience," will introduce younger travelers to Dunhuang’s artistic heritage through interactive learning.

By integrating digital technology and historical artistry, the exhibition offers an immersive experience that connects maritime travel with China’s cultural legacy.
