Seattle-based luxury cruise line Seabourn has confirmed that Seabourn Quest will sail its first Alaska season from May through September 2025, offering 18 seven-day itineraries between Vancouver (British Columbia) and Juneau (Alaska).
The 2025 Alaska season will incorporate Ventures by Seabourn, a series of optional expedition-style excursions designed to enhance the guest experience through hiking, kayaking, and Zodiac cruises. These excursions, available on all Alaska sailings, will include kayaking at Hubbard Glacier, hiking the Rainbow Trail to Rainbow Falls, and exploring Tracy Arm to Sawyer Glacier or Dawes Glacier on Endicott Arm by Zodiac.
Seabourn President Mark Tamis emphasized that Alaska remains a destination known for its natural beauty and cultural significance, and the 2025 season aims to provide guests with a distinctive and immersive experience that reflects Seabourn’s luxury expedition approach. He noted that the Ventures by Seabourn program offers an opportunity for passengers to engage more deeply with the region’s landscapes and wildlife.
The upcoming season will also mark a significant milestone for long-time cruise director Jan Stearman, who will retire after ~3 decades with the company. Stearman, who began her career on Seabourn Pride in 1995, will conclude her tenure with the line on Seabourn Quest’s 7-day ‘Alaska Fjords & Canadian Inside Passage’ sailing, departing August 1st, 2025.
Additionally, Seabourn has introduced a new pre-cruise package, which includes an overnight stay at the Fairmont Olympic Hotel in Seattle, along with breakfast, transfers, and a flight from Seattle to Juneau.
A selection of Seabourn Quest’s Alaska voyages will also be part of Seabourn’s ‘The Sail of the Year Event’ promotion, offering passengers savings of up to 15% and a US$1,000 shipboard credit per suite for bookings made by February 18th, 2025.
