On January 30th, 2025, the Majestic Princess ship, operated by Princess Cruises, made an inaugural call at Port-of-Spain (Trinidad). Carrying 3469 passengers, the liner visited Trinidad as part of a 14-day "Circle Caribbean" itinerary, which commenced on January 21st in Fort Lauderdale (Florida USA). The voyage included stops in St Maarten, St Kitts, Martinique, St Lucia, Barbados, Trinidad, Aruba, and Curacao before returning to Florida.
Upon arrival at 8:00 AM, the Majestic Princess was greeted by representatives from Tourism Trinidad Limited (TTL) and the Port Authority of Trinidad and Tobago. A ceremonial crest exchange took place between Captain Giuseppe Castellano and local tourism officials, followed by an executive tour of the vessel. The welcoming ceremony featured traditional Carnival characters, providing passengers with a preview of the upcoming Carnival season.
912 passengers disembarked to explore Trinidad's attractions through pre-booked tours. Popular excursions included the City and Culture Tour, Maracas Beach Tour, and the Caroni Bird Sanctuary Tour. These activities offered guests insights into the island's cultural and natural heritage.
