Resorts World Cruises has announced that its 3rd vessel (fka Pacific Explorer and Star Scorpio) will be rebranded as Star Voyager, starting revenue operations for the new shipowner on March 26th, 2025.
The newly named ship is scheduled to explore Southeast Asia until July 21st, 2025, operating with Singapore as her principal homeport while also designating Jakarta, Malacca, Bangkok, and Ho Chi Minh City as dual homeports. This arrangement provides passengers the flexibility to embark at any of these key cities on select sailings, including those that coincide with local school holiday periods, as well as to visit popular destinations such as Medan, Pulau Redang, and Koh Samui.
From Singapore, the Star Voyager will depart from the Singapore Cruise Centre Terminal. Her itinerary will include 10 roundtrip 6-day / 5-night cruises between Malacca and Jakarta (with sailings scheduled between March 26th - April 15th and June 11th - July 1st), 5 roundtrip 6-day / 5-night cruises between Bangkok and Koh Samui (April 20th - May 10th), 3 roundtrip 5-day / 4-night cruises from Koh Samui to Pulau Redang (May 15th-23rd), 5 roundtrip 4-day / 3-night cruises from Malacca to Medan via Kuala Tanjung (May 27th - June 8th), and 4 roundtrip 6-day / 5-night cruises from Malacca to Ho Chi Minh City (July 6th-21st).
Departures from Jakarta (via Tanjong Priok Port) are set for 2 periods - March 29th to April 13th and June 14th to 29th, 2025 - offering a total of 8 roundtrip 6-day / 5-night Singapore-Melaka cruises.
Similarly, during Thailand’s school holiday season, departures from Bangkok (via Laem Chabang Port) will feature four roundtrip 6-day / 5-night Koh Samui-Singapore cruises scheduled between April 22nd and May 7th, 2025.
In addition, from Malacca (via the ICQS Cruise Terminal), families and friends will have access to 5 roundtrip 4-day / 3-night Medan-Singapore cruises (May 28th - June 9th, 2025).
Finally, to commemorate the conclusion of her Southeast Asia tour, the Star Voyager will become the first international cruise ship to establish a homeport in Ho Chi Minh City (via Phu My Port) with 4 roundtrip 6-day / 5-night Singapore-Malacca cruises available from July 9th to 24th, 2025, timed to coincide with the Vietnamese school holidays.
