MSC Cruises has confirmed that MSC World America will depart from Saint-Nazaire (France) on March 27th, bound for PortMiami (Florida USA).

This new addition to MSC’s LNG-powered World Class series is designed to accommodate up to 6,774 passengers over 22 decks. Prior to departure, the vessel is scheduled to complete its final sea trials from February 13th to 15th under the command of Captain Dino Sagani.

Following these trials, the ship will continue to Miami, where a christening ceremony is planned for April 9th. MSC Cruises will commence Caribbean cruises on April 12th, with itineraries that include stops in Mexico, Honduras, and MSC’s private island in the Bahamas (Ocean Cay).

Among its many onboard features, MSC World America will offer 13 restaurants, 20 bars, 6 pools, and an 11-deck slide, in addition to introducing The Harbour - an outdoor leisure area that includes a swing positioned 50 meters above the ocean. Meanwhile, MSC continues work on its upcoming vessel, MSC World Asia, scheduled for delivery in 2026.
