Pandaw Cruises, a prominent Asian river cruise operator, is set to introduce a suite-only ship on the Mekong River. This strategic move aims to meet the growing demand for luxury accommodations among travelers. The vessel, formerly known as Pandaw III and now renamed Tonle Pandaw, will undergo refurbishment and re-enter service on November 1st, 2025.
Tonle Pandaw will feature 14 luxury suites, each equipped with a private deck. These suites will be adorned with Cambodian fabrics and repurposed pure Burma teak panelling. Guests will also have access to a dedicated butler for enhanced personal service.
The refurbished ship includes new facilities such as a spa, gym, library, and cocktail saloon. These amenities are designed to provide passengers with an exceptional onboard experience while navigating the majestic waterways of Southeast Asia.
Tonle Pandaw will offer two distinct itineraries along the Mekong River: A 3-night cruise from Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) in Vietnam to Phnom Penh in Cambodia; and a 7-night voyage from Ho Chi Minh City to Siem Reap in Cambodia.
The ultra-shallow draft of just over one meter allows Tonle Pandaw to navigate into low water areas that are often inaccessible to other vessels. This capability enhances its ability to explore remote regions along the Mekong River.
By introducing this suite-only concept with enhanced amenities and personalized services, Pandaw Cruises continues its commitment to providing unique luxury experiences tailored specifically for discerning travelers exploring Southeast Asia's majestic waterways.
