MSC World America, the latest cruise vessel constructed by Chantiers de l'Atlantique, departed on her final sea trials on Thursday, February 13th.
The trials mark the final phase of testing before the ship is officially delivered to MSC Cruises.
The vessel left the Loire estuary for this final round of evaluations, with Captain Dino Sagani, who will assume command upon delivery, overseeing preparations alongside Olivier Macoin, the shipyard’s lead trial captain.
Upon successful completion of the trials, MSC World America is set for delivery to MSC Cruises by the end of March.
The ship will then proceed to PortMiami, where she will be officially welcomed with a Christening Ceremony at MSC Cruises' newly constructed terminal.
