Costa Cruises officially opened reservations for the 2027 edition of its World Cruise, a 139-day global itinerary scheduled for the Costa Deliziosa ship.
The voyage, leaving roundtrip from Savona (Italy) on November 25th, 2026, and ending on April 12th, 2027, spans 5 continents, 29 countries, and 47 destinations.
Costa, a pioneer in offering extended world voyages since the 1970s, has curated a distinctive itinerary for this edition. The 2027 voyage introduces new destinations, including Half Moon Cay Bahamas (an exclusive private island for Carnival Corporation-owned ships) as well as key ports on both the East and West Coasts of the USA, the Hawaiian Islands, Tahiti, Fiji, Australia, Japan, Singapore, and various locations across Southeast Asia and Africa.
In addition to the full 139-day circumnavigation from Savona, guests have the option to embark on a shorter 100-day segment, departing from San Francisco CA. This route covers Oceania, Asia, and Africa before concluding in Savona. Throughout the journey, Costa Deliziosa will follow a westward course, evoking the spirit of classic maritime exploration, with extended port stays and multi-day excursions offering immersive experiences in select destinations.
The North American segment features extended calls in New York, Miami, San Francisco, San Diego, and Los Angeles, where guests will celebrate New Year’s Eve. Excursions include Overland helicopter tours to the Grand Canyon and Las Vegas.
The itinerary continues across the Pacific, with visits to the Hawaiian Islands (Maui and Oahu) and Australia (Cairns and Sydney), before reaching New Caledonia and Japan. Guests opting for the 5-day Overland Tour in Japan will have the opportunity to explore Tokyo, Kyoto, Nagasaki, Hakone, and Mount Fuji. Further stops include Hong Kong, Singapore, and Vietnam.
Crossing the Indian Ocean, Costa Deliziosa will call at the Maldives before reaching South Africa, where passengers can embark on a safari experience in Port Elizabeth. The final leg of the journey follows Africa’s western coastline back to the Mediterranean, completing the circumnavigation.
Reservations for the 2027 World Cruise aboard Costa Deliziosa are now open through travel agencies and Costa Cruises' official website. Limited cabins remain available for the 2026 edition, departing on November 21st, 2025, from Trieste.
