Celebrity Cruises has announced the cancellation of two voyages scheduled for Celebrity Solstice in January 2026 due to an extension of the vessel’s drydocking.
The affected sailings, both 12-night Vietnam & Thailand itineraries originally set to depart on January 15th and 27th, will no longer take place.
As a result, Celebrity Solstice will operate only one voyage in January 2026, a 12-night Vietnam & Thailand itinerary departing Hong Kong on January 3rd. Following its maintenance period, the ship is scheduled to resume service with another 12-night Thailand & Vietnam sailing, departing from Singapore on March 2nd.
The vessel last underwent dry dock in 2021, and the upcoming refurbishment is part of the cruise line’s routine maintenance program. A Celebrity Cruises representative confirmed that the dry dock extension necessitated the cancellations, and impacted passengers, along with their travel agents, have been notified.
Guests affected by the cancellations have been offered several options: they may cancel their booking for a full refund, transfer to one of three alternative sailings with price protection and an onboard credit, or rebook a different itinerary at prevailing rates with an onboard credit included.
