Oceania Cruises is undergoing a leadership shift following the appointment of Jason Montague as Chief Luxury Officer of Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings/NCLH.

Just one day after Montague officially assumed his new role overseeing Oceania and Regent Seven Seas Cruises/RSSC, Frank A. Del Rio (Oceania’s President) announced his departure from the company. His decision follows the recent resignation of Andrea DeMarco, former president of RSSC, who stepped down last month.

Del Rio has been with Oceania for 14 years, serving in various leadership positions, including chief sales and marketing officer and vice president of destination services and product development, before becoming president two years ago. He is the son of Frank Del Rio (Oceania's founder).

Montague acknowledged Del Rio’s contributions to the brand, emphasizing the lasting impact of both Del Rio and his father on Oceania.

With Del Rio’s departure, this marks the first time since the company’s founding in 2003 that a member of the Del Rio family will no longer be involved in its operations.
