Resorts World Cruises has announced the reinstatement of the Star Cruises and Dream Cruises brands, marking the return of two well-established travel brands in the Asian market.

The transition, expected to be completed within 3 months, will see the company’s fleet divided between these distinct brands.

Since its launch in June 2022, Resorts World Cruises has transported ~2 million passengers.

Under the rebranding, Star Cruises will take over the operation of mid-sized vessels offering short and port-intensive itineraries, while Dream Cruises will continue to focus on the premium segment with larger vessels designed for luxury experiences.

As part of the transition, Resorts World One ship will be renamed "Star Navigator", joining the Star Voyager ship in the Star Cruises fleet.

Star Navigator is set to commence operations on March 7th, 2025, with 4-night roundtrips from Singapore to Krabi and Penang before relocating to Taiwan for an 8-month deployment beginning March 28th. During this period, the ship will operate itineraries connecting Taiwan with Japan and Korea.

Meanwhile, Star Voyager will launch on March 26th, 2025, with seasonal deployments from multiple homeports, including Singapore, Jakarta, Malacca, Bangkok, and Saigon.

Dream Cruises will maintain its focus on the premium segment, with the Genting Dream ship continuing to be homeported in Singapore year-round, operating itineraries to Malaysia and Thailand.

The restructuring aims to distinguish the brands within the cruise market, positioning StarCruises as a dynamic and accessible choice for travelers seeking immersive regional voyages, while Dream Cruises will continue to cater to guests looking for a high-end, luxury cruise experience.
