The vessel formerly known as Resorts World One has been rebranded as Star Navigator, coinciding with Resorts World Cruises' transition to the Star Cruises brand, a pioneer in Asian cruising for 3+ decades.
Deployment and Itineraries
Star Navigator is scheduled to homeport in Keelung Taiwan from March 28th to November 14th, 2025, offering weekly roundtrips to Japan and Korea.
The deployment includes 13 distinct itineraries:
- 3-day cruises: 41 sailings to destinations such as Ishigaki, Miyakojima, and Naha, along with weekend high seas cruises.
- 4-day cruises: 8 sailings to Naha and Ishigaki or Miyakojima.
- 6-day cruises: 25 sailings encompassing various ports in Japan and South Korea.
Special Themed Cruises
- Cherry Blossom Cruises: Commencing the season with two exclusive spring voyages, these cruises provide guests the opportunity to observe cherry blossoms at notable locations, including Kumamoto Castle, Mount Yoshino in Kagoshima, and Tateyama Park in Nagasaki. Each guest receives a complimentary "Hanami Excursion," featuring traditional picnics under cherry trees with sake and snacks.
- World Expo 2025 Cruises: Select itineraries include Osaka (via Wakayama), allowing passengers to attend the World Expo 2025 in Osaka, a significant global event occurring every 5 years.
- Fall Foliage Cruises: Concluding the season, 2 cruises in November offer journeys through South Korea and Japan, highlighting the vibrant autumnal landscapes.
Star Navigator is undergoing comprehensive renovations to align with Star Cruises' standards. Upgrades encompass advanced lighting, sound, and entertainment systems to enhance the passenger experience. The ship will feature a dynamic onboard environment with themed events and parties, including Foam and Rain Parties and Red Carpet Parties, alongside a variety of other activities.
Travelers from other Asian regions can conveniently fly to Taipei and embark from Keelung without visa requirements for voyages to Korea and Japan. Options are available for extended vacations with additional days in Taiwan, Japan, or South Korea, facilitating comprehensive 6 to 8-day travel experiences.
