RCI-Royal Caribbean extends proposal deadline for Bahamian businesses at Royal Beach Club

RCI-Royal Caribbean International has extended the deadline for Bahamian businesses to submit proposals for participation in the 17-acre Royal Beach Club on Paradise Island

This extension follows a positive response from local entrepreneurs eager to contribute to the development, which is set to open in late 2025.

The Royal Beach Club aims to integrate Bahamian culture and services, offering opportunities in areas such as facilities and pool maintenance, landscaping, local ticket sales, music and entertainment, beach and water activities, housekeeping, and the development of a signature venue called "The Bunker."

Selected businesses will join existing local partners like Island Site Design (ISD), Bahamas Environmental Group (BEG), Engineering and Technical Services (ETS), Wemco, JSS Environmental Consulting Services, and SEV Consulting Group, all of which are integral to the project's construction that began in April 2024.

The initiative is part of a public-private partnership allowing Bahamians to own up to 49% equity in the venture, combining the natural beauty and spirit of The Bahamas with Royal Caribbean's signature experiences.

Interested businesses can find more information and submit proposals at the Royal Beach Club's official website.
