Uniworld Boutique River Cruises has announced plans to expand its fleet with 3 new Super Ships (SS-named), scheduled to debut in 2027.
These boats will be newly constructed, featuring opulent designs inspired by the regions they will navigate, and will mark the completion of Uniworld's transition to an all-Super Ship fleet.
The forthcoming riverboats will be deployed on European rivers, including the Rhine, Main, Danube, and Douro.
Uniworld's Super Ships are renowned for their luxurious interiors, incorporating high-quality materials such as custom fabrics, hand-carved wood, and marble flooring. Each vessel showcases original artwork, often specially commissioned or created by renowned artists, and offers enhanced space with additional suites, dining venues, and top-tier amenities.
Ellen Bettridge (the company's President and CEO) stated that 2027 will represent a significant milestone for the company as it finalizes its transformation into a fully Super Ship fleet with the addition of these three newbuilds. She emphasized that the company's goal has consistently been to elevate the luxury river cruise experience, with the new vessels reflecting a steadfast commitment to innovation and craftsmanship, providing guests with an unparalleled experience where every detail is meticulously considered.
These new ships will join Uniworld's recent Super Ships, including the SS Emilie (2026), SS Elisabeth (2025) and SS Victoria (2024).
The expansion will increase the fleet size by over 10% since 2020.
Further details regarding the new ships and their specific itineraries will be disclosed in due course.
