Europe’s largest river cruise company CroisiEurope will introduce a 32-guest luxury boat in 2027, marking its debut in South American waters and its first newbuild since 2020.

The 49-meter-long, 15-meter-wide ship, designed for the Amazon River and its tributaries, will homeport in Manaus (Brazil), offering 12-day itineraries traversing the Amazon, Rio Negro, Solimoes, Arapiuns, and Tapajos rivers, with optional extensions to the Colombian border.

The vessel’s design integrates sustainable wood materials, vibrant color schemes, and artisan motifs reflective of Amazonian culture. Accommodation comprises 16 suites with private balconies, including two presidential suites suspended above the waterline. Onboard amenities include a gourmet restaurant serving Brazilian-inspired cuisine, a spa, fitness center, sun deck, and conference facilities.

Operational sustainability is prioritized through hybrid energy systems combining solar panels and battery storage, enabling generator-free operations overnight. Engines comply with stringent environmental standards, supported by advanced wastewater treatment systems. The ship’s programming emphasizes engagement with local Amazonian communities, fostering cultural exchange and biodiversity conservation initiatives while educating passengers to serve as environmental ambassadors post-voyage.

Itineraries will focus on key ecological and cultural sites, with bookings opening imminently.
