TUI Cruises will operate its first adults-only voyage in 2025, offering a 23-day itinerary across the Indian Ocean aboard Mein Schiff 6. Designed exclusively for guests aged 18 and over, this sailing provides an extended period at sea with a focus on relaxation and wellness.
The voyage will commence on November 17th, 2025, from Cape Town (South Africa) and conclude in Singapore on December 10th, 2025. Along the route, Mein Schiff 6 will call at key ports, including Port Elizabeth and Cape Town in South Africa, Saint-Denis in Reunion, Port Louis in Mauritius, Colombo and Hambantota in Sri Lanka, and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, before arriving in Singapore.
With multiple sea days throughout the itinerary, this voyage is designed for guests seeking an unhurried experience at sea, complemented by Mein Schiff 6’s extensive wellness facilities. The Spa & Meer features saunas, a zen garden, a mud bath, an open-air massage sundeck, and spa balcony cabins offering direct access to these amenities.
Dining options on Mein Schiff 6 include a variety of international selections, such as Hanami for Far Eastern cuisine, Osteria for Italian specialties, and the Atlantik Klassik and Atlantik Mediterran main dining venues, which serve buffet-style breakfasts and lunches along with five-course dinners.
Fares for this sailing start at EUR 2,229 (US$2,421) for an inside stateroom.
This introduction marks TUI Cruises’ entry into the adults-only cruise segment, potentially responding to increasing demand for child-free travel experiences. The decision may serve as a pilot initiative to evaluate market interest in dedicated adults-only sailings.
The segment remains relatively limited, with only a few cruise operators - including Viking, Virgin Voyages, and SAGA Cruises - offering such itineraries. TUI Cruises’ move suggests an exploration of expanding its portfolio to cater to evolving guest preferences.
