National Geographic-Lindblad Expeditions will charter the Aqua Blu from Aqua Expeditions/fleet for 2 dive-focused voyages in Indonesia during the fall of 2026. Designed for small-group exploration, the 28-guest vessel features indoor and al fresco dining areas, an outdoor wellness space, a hot tub, and a spa specializing in Balinese treatments and aromatherapy. The ship will be equipped with snorkeling and kayaking gear, as well as facilities to accommodate up to 10 experienced and certified divers at a time.
The first itinerary, Indonesia’s Coral Gardens and Komodo Dragons, is a 15-day voyage in October that will take guests through the Coral Triangle. The journey includes a visit to Komodo National Park to observe the world’s largest lizard in its natural habitat, along with diving and snorkeling in Taka Bonerate National Park. Additional activities will include kayaking through mangrove forests and cultural interactions with local communities.
In November, Indonesia’s Spice Islands and Raja Ampat itinerary will offer another 15-day expedition, combining cultural exploration with marine discovery. Guests will have the opportunity to snorkel and dive in Raja Ampat, a region renowned for its vibrant coral reefs. The voyage will also include visits to nutmeg plantations, remote volcanic islands, hidden waterfalls, and traditional villages.
Both expeditions highlight National Geographic-Lindblad Expeditions' focus on immersive, environmentally conscious travel in some of the world’s most ecologically significant marine environments.
