Halifax (Nova Scotia) will begin its cruise season on April 4th with Viking OCEAN's Viking Polaris and conclude in late November with AIDA's AIDAdiva. The port anticipates 188 ship calls, accommodating ~328,000 passengers.

Saint John (New Brunswick) expects 78 cruise calls, welcoming ~180,000 guests. By mid-September, the port is projected to surpass a cumulative total of 3.5 million cruise passengers since it began operations in 1989.

Charlottetown (Prince Edward Island) is set to receive 79 cruise calls, including 7 inaugural visits, with an expected 129,500 passengers throughout the season.

Sydney (Nova Scotia) anticipates ~230,000 passengers across 110 cruise calls, offering visitors the opportunity to explore Cape Breton Island's rich history, vibrant culture, and scenic landscapes.

The 2025 season will also feature several new companies and vessels expanding their presence in the region.

Virgin Voyages debuts with the Brilliant Lady, calling at both Saint John and Halifax. Other notable inaugural ship visits include Oceania Allura, Celebrity Silhouette, Le Commandant Charcot, Majestic Princess, Seven Seas Splendor, and Silver Dawn.

Furthermore, Halifax will host the Cruise Canada New England Symposium from June 9th-11th, welcoming 150+ cruise industry professionals to strategize on enhancing regional cruise tourism.

This anticipated growth underscores Atlantic Canada's appeal as a premier cruise destination, offering diverse experiences that continue to attract travelers worldwide.
