On Sunday, March 23rd, a medical evacuation was conducted approximately 100 miles/160 km north of Tenerife (Canary Islands Spain), involving the luxury ship Seabourn Venture.
Tenerife's Maritime Rescue Centre coordinated the medevac following an alert from the vessel. A Helimer 202 craft was deployed to execute the evacuation.
Upon arrival, the helicopter crew hoisted the affected crew member and a nurse and transported them to Doctor Negrín Hospital in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. The medevac was completed at approximately 08:40 AM UTC.
