HAL-Holland America Line has announced its 2026-2027 winter season itineraries for the Caribbean, featuring an increased number of voyages extending nine days or longer. Nearly all sailings will include a call at Half Moon Cay, which will have undergone extensive redevelopment.

The newly released itineraries include 7- to 14-day routes covering the eastern and western Caribbean, as well as a 10-day itinerary encompassing the Greater Antilles, Mexico, and Belize.

Carnival Corporation (HAL’s parent company) has rebranded the private destination as RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay. The redevelopment includes the construction of a pier and enhancements to the island’s northern section for Carnival Cruise Line/CCL guests. The southern section will be further developed to cater exclusively to HAL passengers.

Upon completion, the HAL-designated area will feature a new beach club offering private beach access, upgraded beach furniture, and both indoor and outdoor seating with views of the anchored vessel. The club will provide enhanced food and beverage service, including waiter service. HAL guests will continue to access the island via tender operations.

Island-wide improvements for HAL guests include upgraded cabanas, villas, and canopy loungers. Additional enhancements involve the introduction of new retail outlets, a renovated food court, an upgraded Lobster Shack, and new food trucks offering destination-specific menu items.

Recreational upgrades will include the installation of pickleball courts, along with mobile beverage service provided by Aperol Spritz tricycles and Bacardi Beach Buggies.

Initial phases of the redevelopment are expected to be completed by summer 2026, with additional work continuing through the end of the year.
