Windstar Cruises' newest vessel, Star Seeker, is scheduled to commence her inaugural sailing season in December 2025.

Following the formal christening on January 15th, 2026, the vessel will operate in the Caribbean before transitioning to Alaska for a summer deployment and subsequently repositioning to Japan and other parts of Asia.

Star Seeker is the latest addition to Windstar’s Star Class fleet and has been designed to enhance the line’s established small-ship operational model. The vessel is equipped with 112 guest suites, mostly featuring private verandas or floor-to-ceiling windows with ocean-facing ventilation options. The design and outfitting, led by project designer Jessica Payne, emphasize functionality and space optimization within a luxury framework.

Public areas onboard have been purpose-built to support Windstar’s service model. The new specialty dining venue, Basil + Bamboo, expands the culinary offerings available to guests. Additional amenities include the Yacht Club Cafe, outfitted with panoramic windows and a central skylight, offering informal food and beverage service throughout the day. Adjacent, the Yacht Club Cafe Bar provides both hot and cold beverages, accommodating guest preferences from coffee to cocktails.

The Main Lounge features modular seating configurations within a contemporary interior scheme, providing a multipurpose environment suitable for both daytime gatherings and evening events. Interior elements include green accents set against neutral palettes for visual continuity.

The primary dining room, Amphora Restaurant, incorporates blue-toned finishes and is situated to maximize ocean views via floor-to-ceiling glazing. Seating arrangements consist of booth-style and traditional tables to accommodate varying party sizes and preferences, supporting an intimate dining experience.

With its inaugural deployment and operational profile, Star Seeker reflects Windstar’s continued focus on low-capacity, experience-oriented cruising, while integrating updated hospitality concepts and modern marine accommodation standards.
