Emerald Cruises has announced plans to expand its fleet with the addition of two superyachts and a river ship, scheduled for delivery in 2027.
The river vessel, Emerald Lumi, is purpose-built to operate on France's Seine River. She will mark the company's inaugural sailings on this waterway, offering round-trip itineraries from Paris beginning in 2027.
The forthcoming superyachts, Emerald Raiya and Emerald Xara, are set to debut in the winters of 2026-2027 and 2027-2028, respectively. Each vessel will accommodate up to 128 passengers in all-suite accommodations. Detailed itineraries and booking information are expected to be released in June of this year.
Emerald Raiya's inaugural season will commence in the Seychelles, followed by voyages in the eastern Mediterranean during the summer of 2027, before returning to the Seychelles for the winter of 2027-2028. Emerald Xara is slated to begin operations in the Mediterranean in the summer of 2027 and will transition to the Caribbean for the winter of 2027-2028. In the Caribbean, she will join sister ships Emerald Kaia, Emerald Azzurra, and Emerald Sakara.
These new vessels will follow the launches of Emerald Kaia and Emerald Astra, both scheduled for April 2026.
Additionally, Emerald Cruises plans to preview its 2027-2028 deployment details to address growing demand from the charter and group markets, with a particular emphasis on its luxury superyacht fleet. Selected yacht voyages will offer early access and planning support for agents to facilitate advance planning and customized group offerings.
