Azamara Cruises, recognized for its Destination Immersion experiences, is set to enhance its offerings with the introduction of Destination Immersion Elevated.

This initiative aims to enrich port visits through expanded programming that emphasizes destination exploration, authentic local cuisine, cultural engagement, and enhanced excursions.

Azamara plans to increase its specialty voyages from 6 to 22, notably featuring three Solar Eclipse cruises in 2026. Additionally, the 2025-2026 itinerary will include 33 Country-Intensive voyages and introduce 25 new ports. Guests will benefit from extended time ashore, with 51% of port visits featuring late nights or overnights, facilitating deeper exploration and meaningful connections.

Onboard enhancements include:

  • Destination Events: On voyages of 9 nights or longer, the pool deck will host alfresco dining experiences showcasing regional dishes, complemented by local entertainment such as traditional music and cultural performances.
  • Daily Destination Entrées: The Authentic Local Cuisine Program will be expanded with 150+ new locally inspired dishes across main dining venues. For 2025 European voyages, menus curated by expert chefs from Croatia, France, Italy, Portugal, and Spain will feature multicourse meals celebrating each destination's culinary heritage.
  • Stories Under the Stars: This fireside-style event on the pool deck will be led by one of 250+ Destination Speakers, sharing local folklore and myths of the regions visited, accompanied by themed desserts and beverages.
  • New Beverage Offerings: The premium beverage package will now include 21 Destination Beers, allowing guests to sample libations from regions such as Australia and the Caribbean.

Beyond the ship, Azamara will offer an expanded range of shore experiences, with 13,500+ Elevated Excursions available for the 2025-2026 season. The cruise line will introduce a collection of 246 evening and overnight tours, allowing guests to secure these immersive experiences up to 18 months in advance. These excursions are designed to provide deeper connections to the people and traditions that define each destination.

Azamara Cruises will also debut the Curator's Collection, a series of exclusive, once-in-a-lifetime experiences led by locals, offering unparalleled access to the heart of each destination.

Destination Immersion Elevated will feature more complimentary, exclusive cultural engagements than before, including 34 new AzAmazing Evenings, the most in Azamara's history. These intimate, authentic experiences, led by Destination Speakers native to the region, provide access to moments guests might not encounter during independent travels.
