Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines has announced a 98-night world cruise aboard the Borealis, scheduled to depart from Southampton UK on January 21, 2027.

The itinerary includes a 4-day stop in Hawaii and visits to five Japanese ports, strategically planned to avoid peak tourist seasons and align with the late plum blossom period. Additional experiences encompass whale watching opportunities in the Caribbean, Mexico, and Hawaii, as well as viewing Hong Kong’s skyline during the Symphony of Lights.

The voyage also features visits to Pearl Harbor, Singapore’s Gardens by the Bay, and safari excursions in South Africa. A transit through the Panama Canal is included, connecting the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans.

Bookings made by May 7, 2025, qualify for Fred. Olsen’s Freedom Fare Price Promise, ensuring that if a Freedom Fare is booked within the first four weeks of a cruise's release, guests are guaranteed the best value or will receive a cabin upgrade or onboard spending credit if the fare is later reduced.

Furthermore, guests booking a Freedom Fare for this World Cruise will benefit from Fred. Olsen’s inclusive pricing, which covers full-board dining; house beers, wines, spirits, and draught soft drinks with lunch and dinner; entertainment and enrichment activities; shuttle buses when the port is more than one mile from the ship; guided social strolls in selected ports; fitness classes; crew gratuities; and port fees and taxes.
