On April 9, TUI Cruises officially christened the Mein Schiff Relax, the inaugural vessel of its new InTUItion class, at the Port of Málaga (Spain). The ceremony was attended by over 12,000 guests, including passengers from the accompanying ships Mein Schiff 5 and Mein Schiff 7.
The event featured an open-air concert by British singer Robbie Williams, who serves as the wellness ambassador for the Mein Schiff Relax. Williams performed several of his well-known tracks, engaging the audience with his dynamic stage presence.
The christening ceremony included the traditional champagne bottle-breaking at the ship's bow, complemented by a light and stage show. Guests aboard all three ships—Mein Schiff Relax, Mein Schiff 5, and Mein Schiff 7—were offered special culinary experiences and entertainment as part of the festivities.
The Mein Schiff Relax is the first ship in TUI's InTUItion class, introducing innovative wellness-focused features. These include single balcony cabins for solo travelers and diverse dining options, such as the Asian restaurant Fugu, curated by renowned chef Tim Raue.
During the summer of 2025, TUI's Mein Schiff Relax will operate 7- to 10-day voyages departing from and returning to Palma de Mallorca. These itineraries include visits to Italian cities such as Rome (via Civitavecchia), La Spezia, and Naples; Spanish mainland destinations including Valencia, Barcelona, Málaga, and Cádiz; as well as stops in Marseille or Ajaccio in France, Lisbon in Portugal, and the Moroccan port city of Tangier. Select routes feature overnight stays in Palma, allowing guests extended time to explore Mallorca's capital.
In the winter season of 2025-2026, Mein Schiff Relax will transition to the Canary Islands, offering 7-day cruises with embarkation options in Las Palmas, Gran Canaria, or Santa Cruz, Tenerife. These voyages provide opportunities to explore the diverse landscapes and cultures of the Canary Islands.
