Cruise passengers who boarded a couple of recent cruises out of Melbourne Australia have been warned that while aboard they had been exposed to Hepatitis E.
The Department of Health & Human Services yesterday alerted passengers who had travelled on Golden Princess between February 8-15 that a crew member had been suffering the illness at the time.
Professor Charles Guest, Victoria's Chief Health Officer, said that passengers were at "low risk" of infection, and unlikely to become unwell as a result of possible exposure.
