Royal Caribbean announced a number of new Caribbean cruise options from Galveston, Miami and New Orleans.
After a 3-year hiatus, the line will return to offering voyages from New Orleans with Vision of the Seas in 2018-2019 winter. Beginning on December 15, 2018, the ship will offer 7-night itineraries to Yucatan Peninsula and Bahamas.
Before making her way to New Orleans, Royal Caribbean's Vision of the Seas will offer a couple of 16-night sailings via the Panama Canal out of Miami to Los Angeles. This will be the first time in 3 years that the line has offered a cruise through the canal.
Mariner of the Seas will be homeported in Miami, Florida in 2018, following a transpacific voyage. The ship will be the first Voyager Class vessel to offer short Caribbean cruises. Before she offers sailings from her new homeport, Mariner of the Seas will undergo a 32-day refurbishment. Once back in service, the ship will offer 3- and 4-night itineraries from Miami, beginning June 21, 2018.
Enchantment of the Seas joins Liberty of the Seas in Galveston, offering 4- and 5-night Caribbean sailings. The ship arrives in Galveston June 23, 2018. Passengers now booked on Enchantment of the Seas for sailings from Miami after June 23 will be contacted to transition the original booking to RCI Mariner of the Seas.
Sailings onboard Mariner are now available to book. Enchantment and Vision of the Seas cruises will be available to book as of May 5, 2017.
