The last voyage of Saga Pearl II, the smaller of the couple of ships of the based in the UK Saga Cruises, will be a 54-night cruise to western, southern and eastern Africa. The ship will sail from Portsmouth on February 16, 2019.
The voyage will include calls at cruise ports seldom visited by cruise liners, like Banjul, Luanda, Luderitz, Maputo, Walvis Bay.
Saga Pearl II will be replaced by a 55,900 GT newbuilding named Spirit of Discovery. Currently, it is not known if the vessel will continue to trade for another operator after leaving the Saga fleet.
