Costa Cruises soon announced that its Costa neoClassica ship will leave the fleet in 2018.
The ship's last Costa cruise itinerary is scheduled for March 4, 2018 (7-day "India and Maldives" from Mumbai india to Male Maldives).
Last refurbished in 2014, neoClassica is the company's oldest vessel. The decision was made following the 4 new ships order, with the vessels delivered between 2019-2022. Each of the new Costa ships is 183,000 tons, with over 2600 cabins and passenger capacity 6600.
According to some speculations, Costa neoClassica could join the fleet of the Florida-based company "Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line" run by NCL's formet President Kevin Sheehan. The company currently has one ship - MS Grand Celebration.
