AIDA Cruises is launching one of its well known "AIDA pur" cruises. On November 15, 2017 AIDAbella will sail from Venice and arrive in Dubai on November 28, 2017. Passengers will enjoy 10 days at sea with highlights including Suez Canal crossing and overnights in Venice and Dubai.
During the first Captain’s Cruise, travelers will be shown the most captivating sides of navigation by Capt. Friedhold Hoppert in person, as it is only for “AIDA pur” that Hoppert accompanies the responsible Captain, Hennig Ueberall, giving passengers his undivided attention. Captain Hoppert has held a captain’s license for more than 40 years and has been with AIDA Cruises right from the start.
During photo lectures and astronomical observations, marine biologist Gabi Eidam and astronomy expert Dr. Hartmut Renken will captivate listeners with exciting stories, extraordinary phenomena and scientific facts.
For dancing, the cruise presents the “Let’s Dance” super stars, Kathrin Menzinger and Vadim Garbuzov, who are 3-time world champions in Latin show dance and offer show dances and workshops. Passengers will be able to display the acquired skills at the gala evening. Tatiana Peréz teaches guests graceful oriental dance in a flash. The versatile performer brings along yoga, salsa and dance fitness, as well.
AIDA Cruises' top chef Franz Schned, popular from ZDF show “Küchenschlacht,” creates culinary highlights and will be transporting passengers to the world of TV cookery. Gunnar Tietz, an award-winning sommelier, will be ensuring that the right wines are offered and will guide cruisers through the world of wines and aromas. The flavor ambassador with Otto Gourmet, is expected to be familiarizing travellers with the subject of meat at Perfect Meat Academy’s workshops.
There is even more entertainment with activities like photo workshops, wellness treatments, and over 30 fitness courses, and passengers will be enthralled by shows including “Dancing Queen”, “Dreams” and “Bellagio.” Those with a talent for singing will be the stars of the evening at “The Voice of the Ocean”.
