Global cruise travel in 2017 is continuing to grow and features a steady pace all around the world.
CLIA (Cruise Line International Association) predicts that over the course of the year a total of 25.8 million cruise passengers will board cruise vessels for ocean bound trips, which is 1.1 million more than 2016.
By far the most cruise passengers hail from the USA, which makes it less astonishing that most capacity is allocated to Caribbean.
The 2nd most popular destination is the Mediterranean, with all non-med European destinations in the 3rd place.
