Foot traffic is expected to be heavy in downtown Sydney Canada today, September 23, as 3 cruise ships will be at Cape Breton's port for the first time this season.
Crystal Serenity, Silver Muse and Vision of the Seas will all be at Port of Sydney, with a total passenger number of just over 4,000. Silver Whisper was due in Friday but weather forced it to reschedule its port of call to Sunday, when the ship will be joined by Zuiderdam.
Tuesday will be the 2nd 3-ship day for the port this season, when Insignia, Rotterdam and Queen Mary 2 will all be in port, with more than 5,600 guests.
This was already expected to be the busiest season in the history of port of Sydney, and the months of September and October are when the bulk of cruise ship arrivals occur.
96 ship visits are scheduled in Sydney this season, with a total traveller count of almost 138,000.
