After nearly 2 months of no cruising due to hurricanes, Grand Turk will again welcome cruise ships, starting with Carnival.
Carnival Cruise Line revealed they resume service to Grand Turk beginning with Carnival Ecstasy on November 1. The ship leaves Charleston on October 29 following a sea day and a call at Half Moon Cay.
The cruise port was expected to start receiving ships again in late September. However, an assessment by engineers showed it had sustained more damage than it was originally anticipated and the plans for cruisers to return to the popular port had to be pushed back.
