The first new Azamara cruise ship set to debut since the founding of the line back in 2010 will spend her first winter in South America.
Arriving in August, Azamara Pursuit (former Adonia) will offer a series of cruises around South America from Lima, Buenos Aires, and Santiago de Chile, starting November 2018.
The voyages will include Antarctica and Chilean Fjords, both of which firsts for the line. There will also be voyages to Brazil placing the ship in Rio de Janeiro around New Year Eve and during Carnivale.
Pursuit will be the first ship of Azamara to arrive in South America in 3 years, and the first ever to sail along South America's west coast.
In advance of sailings to South America, Pursuit will operate over half a dozen European voyages including a 15-night trip from Southampton to Iceland, and a number of Greek Islands cruises that boast off-the-beaten-path stops.
Azamara Pursuit will debut on August 3 with a 10-night cruise from Barcelona to Southampton UK.
