Asia's largest cruise ship, Ovation of the Seas, arrived at Hualien Port today, November 11, bringing more than 3,700 international tourists to the city of Hualien, eastern Taiwan.
Ovation of the Seas is the largest cruise liner to have ever berthed at Hualien Port, which already welcomed 8 cruise ships so far in 2017. Hualien Port facilities have been renovated a number of months ago to prepare for the gigantic vessel.
Indigenous dance performances welcomed the arrival of the cruise ship and the travellers onboard.
The Royal Caribbean ship arrived at Keelung Port, northern Taiwan from Hong Kong the previous day.
More than 3,700 passengers onboard the ship are expected to visit a local shrine, railway culture park and Hualien's Taroko National Park.
