The fast-growing cruise industry in Curacao received a boost this week via the debut of its new 2nd cruise pier.
The USD 43 million mega-pier project is expected to keep up with increasing cruise demand. This season is projected to be quite busy.
Curacao's second mega pier is situated west of St Anna Bay, in Otrabanda area.
3000+ passengers arrived at Tula Pier onboard Royal Caribbean’s Adventure of the Seas on Monday to explore the historic capital of Willemstad, one of the most fascinating Caribbean cities and UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The grand opening for the pier will be held in March 2018.
