Carnival Cruise Line is transforming shipboard shopping experience with popular items and renovated spaces from some of the best-known retailers in the world, including Pandora, Swarovski, TAG, Victoria’s Secret and others.
According to William Butler, Carnival’s Vice President of Retail, the expanded offerings and upgraded retail venues were the result of months of data gathering and intensive research to customize line's onboard shopping options to match the passengers' preferences.
Carnival’s onboard retail experience has been enhanced with special promotions, giveaways, in-store parties, fun activities and more. Select cruise ships also have stand-alone kiosks offering “wearable tech” accessories such as the latest fitness pedometers, heart rate monitors and trackers by popular brands like Fossil and others. Carnival Cruise Line has made a significant investment in digital marketing across its fleet directing passengers to upcoming deals and marquee retail events during the cruise.
Carnival Horizon, set to debut in 2018 spring, will take the retail offerings of the line to the next level with Carnival’s largest and most elaborate shopping experience to date with 2 decks of displays, shops and boutiques featuring top-name retailers.
