Costa Cruises announced major improvements onboard its Costa Pacifica and Costa Magica cruise ships, to further enhance cruise experience offered to passengers.
During the drydock at Forme 10, Chantier Naval de Marseille in port of Marseille Fos, both vessels received important upgrades in their public areas and addition of new features, aiming to ensure thrilling experience for cruisers.
Costa Magica, which on November 25 left Marseille dry dock, was subjected to major refurbishment of her restaurants and wellness areas. Bellagio Buffet Restaurant and Vicenza Club Restaurants received changes to the layout and galleys' upgrades that will allow passengers accommodated in the suites and Costa Club Diamond Pearl members to enjoy the Club Restaurant. Buffet Bellagio Restaurant was improved with more efficient space allocation. The gym and wellness spaces were renovated and a new relax, sauna, and thalassotherapy area was revealed.
Onboard Costa Pacifica, drydocked between November 26 and December 7, new digital signage is scheduled to debut: interactive screens and high-resolution monitors featuring various functions will help passengers’ orientation on the cruise ship, inform them about the events and activities planned onboard, advertise promotions on services and products available and promote educational campaign and initiatives.
Renovation works also include the addition of a couple of the most appreciated Costa Cruises latest features: Gelateria Amarillo on both ships and Pizzeria Pummid’Oro onboard Costa Pacifica. Passengers will be able enjoy original Italian pizza with dough that is made from 100% natural yeast, selected flours, San Marzano DOP tomatoes, real mozzarella produced onboard, and Italian gelato with Agrimontana flavorings.
Once all upgrades have been completed Magica and Pacifica will head off to the Caribbean for scheduled winter cruises.
